Pontenossa s.p.a, exists since 1994. It deals in the recovery of metals from steel production dusty residues.
The plant is situated in Ponte Nossa and works supporting the most important steel plants in north Italy. The service of material withdrawal is punctual, reliable and continuous; consequently the treatment is done in accordance with the current laws.
The plant actually collects much of the steel dust produced in Lombardia district so ensuring a fundamental public service regarding raw materials recovery and environment safeguard.
The strategic plant position permits the logistics aspects optimization, reducing the material route and minimizing all the risks connected, in fact the majority of the dust arrives from the neighboring Brescia province.
The activity is based on the technology and the know-how internationally used for the treatment of this kind of residues so-called “Waelz process”.
